Job summary

Maury Microwave in Ontario, CA is seeking a DC Assembly and Test Technician to build precision electro-mechanical devices, test and tune them to specification, and perform VSWR and related tests for 0.5–110 GHz. You will maintain QA records and ensure 100% quality while adhering to company procedures.

The role requires an Associate degree in RF/electronics or equivalent, plus hands-on microwave testing experience.

Qualifications

Associate of Science degree in RF, electronics or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum 4 years in a microwave lab or similar environment testing, tuning, calibrating, analyzing, and troubleshooting microwave waveguide and coaxial components.
Knowledge of HP 8510 Network Analyzer and/or PNA required.
Able to inspect components and use micrometers, calipers, and interface gauges.
Able to read engineering drawings, schematics and test specifications.

Responsibilities

Build precision electro-mechanical devices using engineering drawings, instructions and work orders.
Perform VSWR, insertion loss, impedance testing on the products, and calibration of coaxial and waveguide components using VNA or HP 8510 network analyzers, other testing equipment or setups.
Verify conformance of finished goods and detail them to meet customer demands and ensure 100% quality.
Comply with Maury Microwave quality systems and complete related documents.
Train lower and mid-level techs on assembly, testing, tuning and calibration.
