Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, through its Teledyne MEC division, develops microwave/RF components for civilian and military applications in California. The Manufacturing Test Technician role focuses on tuning, testing, and troubleshooting high-frequency assemblies for precision and reliability.

Based in Rancho Cordova, CA, this full-time, on-site position requires experience with test equipment and a D.O.D.

Qualifications

Experience in electrical/electronic testing is required.
Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power meters is required.
Solid understanding of Ohm’s law and basic electronics theory is required.
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production schedules is required.
Technical associate degree or equivalent military training is required.

Responsibilities

Perform Thin Film tuning, alignment, troubleshooting, and final testing of microwave components and assemblies.
Use advanced microwave test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and digital scopes.
Conduct preliminary testing, pulse focusing, and environmental testing.
Assemble and disassemble tubes for test and repair returned TWTs.
Collaborate with engineers on new product releases and troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety and quality standards.
