Job summary

Amazon in Redmond is seeking a Sr. Microwave Hardware Design Engineer to help design Ka/ V-band RF hardware for space applications.

You will decompose requirements, optimize subsystems, and collaborate with RF, power, software, mechanical and reliability teams. You will build test benches, simulate circuits, guide PCB layout, and support production testing and qualification to ensure readiness for spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with RF/Microwave focus.
• 7+ years of RF/microwave hardware design to component level.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment and lab tests.
• Experience with RF/microwave design tools (ADS, HFSS, MWO).
• Knowledge of space environments and MIL-PRF-38534 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Ka-Band and V-band RF hardware for space.
