Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Senior Program Manager - Microwave in the United States. You will lead the Microwave Program, delivering hardware, firmware, software, and algorithms on time and within budget, coordinating with engineering, business, legal, finance, and operations.

The role is based in San Jose with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) and remote options from approved locations. You will monitor contracts, drive roadmaps, schedules, and budgets, support proposals, RFIs, and captures, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program management.
• B.S. in engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Track record delivering hardware, firmware, software on time and to spec.
• Experience with satellite-based systems and integrated master schedules.
• Proficiency with modern cloud-based productivity tools.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills across disciplines.
• Experience in vendor and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary aerospace development and day-to-day execution.
• Coordinate resources with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish tools, practices, and processes to synchronize teams.
• Engage in technical discussions and define scope, schedules, solutions.
• Track metrics on schedule, cost, risk, and performance.
• Represent the company to customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
