The candidate will work under a microscope for extended periods, interpret routers and schematics, and help train others while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a high-volume microwave or high-technology environment.
• Minimum 7 years of brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding and gap welding processes.
• Must be able to read mechanical drawings and detailed work instructions.
• IPC/J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, MIL-STD-2000, NASA-STD-8739.3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly from specifications, drawings, blueprints, test procedures and instructions.
• Mechanical assembly including housing fabrication for HI-REL channel amplifiers.
• MIC assembly including brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding and gap welding.
• Support tests for electrical changes and tuning.
• Train defined area personnel and assist in other trainings as required.
• Maintain production schedules and documentation per policy.
