Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume microwave or high-technology environments preferred.
• At least 1 year in electronic and mechanical assembly, soldering, brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding and gap welding.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and written instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical assembly of channel amplifiers, linearizers, and other microwave parts per work instructions.
• Mechanical assembly including housing fabrication for HI-REL channel amplifiers.
• MIC assembly including brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding and gap welding.
• Set up and operate assembly equipment to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Support tests for electrical changes and tuning purposes.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and schematics for electronics assembly.
• Disassemble/modify/rework assemblies as needed under supervision.
