NewGen Technologies, a trusted provider of enterprise IT solutions, seeks a Microsoft Solutions Architect to lead Windows Server and Active Directory modernization, security, and automation for large‑scale on‑prem environments. You will define standards, roadmaps, and architecture reviews while mentoring teams and engaging stakeholders.

The role demands DoD‑level security familiarity, strong leadership, and proven delivery of high‑availability Microsoft infrastructure.

Qualifications

TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance
7+ years designing and supporting enterprise Windows Server environments
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Engineering
Experience with enterprise patch management and deployment automation

Responsibilities

Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards for Microsoft technologies
Develop technology roadmaps, modernization strategies, and future-state designs
Lead architecture reviews, technical evaluations, and solution design efforts
Serve as the primary Microsoft infrastructure SME for technical planning and stakeholder engagements
Design, implement, and support highly available Microsoft on-prem solutions (AD DS, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Kerberos, PKI/AD CS)
Lead automation and security initiatives (PowerShell, DISA STIG compliance)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and performance issues
Lead technical projects through full system lifecycle and mentor engineering teams
Collaborate with security, network, application, and operations teams to deliver enterprise solutions
