AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Microsoft Solutions Architect to lead the design, modernization, security, and automation of enterprise on-prem Microsoft infrastructure. This role acts as the technical authority for Windows Server and Active Directory, guiding architecture standards and long-term roadmaps.

Role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and is a full-time onsite position at a government customer site in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years designing and supporting enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Deep expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, PKI/AD CS.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation experience.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable virtualization platforms.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls).
• Compliance with DoD 8140 IAT Level 2.

Aufgaben

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards for Microsoft technologies.
• Develop roadmaps, modernization strategies, and future-state designs.
• Lead architecture reviews, evaluations, and solution design efforts.
• Serve as the primary Microsoft infrastructure SME for planning and stakeholder engagements.
• Design highly available on-prem Microsoft solutions (AD DS, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, PKI/AD CS).
• Create detailed architecture docs, implementation plans, and operational standards.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and modern infrastructure tools.
• Lead vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and security initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues; role as technical leader.
