Job summary

Insight is seeking a Senior Architect to lead discovery engagements, design target-state security architectures, and guide clients through critical Microsoft security decisions. You will help build the practice by delivering reusable IP and accelerators while ensuring governance across engagements.

The role blends client delivery with practice development, reporting to the Services team, and requires strong executive communication and deep Microsoft security expertise in Entra ID, Defender,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior architecture and advisory capability, including problem definition and decision support.
• Deep customer-facing consulting experience, able to facilitate workshops and present recommendations to executives.
• Strong experience across the Microsoft security stack (Entra ID, Defender, Intune, Purview, 365 security).
• Proven experience with Entra ID features: CA, identity governance, RBAC, hybrid identity, cross-tenant access.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery engagements and design target-state security architectures for clients.
• Guide clients through decisions across the full Microsoft security stack.
• Contribute to reusable IP, accelerators, and Essential 8 uplift programmes.
• Communicate risks and trade-offs clearly to executives and technical teams.
• Provide architecture governance and support delivery teams through complex design decisions.
