Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Microsoft 365 Platform Administrator to provide technical leadership in design, implementation, and support of enterprise collaboration services across the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem.

In this strategic engineering and senior architecture role, you will shape platform services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Office365 and related services) in a secure, high-performance regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Eight years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT with 5+ years focused on Microsoft 365 architecture or adjacent roles.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, governance, identity and access management.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 suite and related services.
• Strong troubleshooting across networking, identity, endpoints and cloud services.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise architecture for Microsoft 365 and unified communications services and adjacent tools.
• Lead modernization initiatives and define future-state roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Implement advanced security configurations and governance policies (CA, Defender, DLP, MFA, Zero Trust).
• Develop and maintain runbooks for Tier 2 support and incident response.
• Create scripting and automation to streamline repetitive tasks and improve reliability.
• Lead end-to-end projects from requirements through production rollout and post-mortem reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex issues spanning endpoints, identity, network, cloud services, and tenant integrations.
