Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Sr Software Development Engineer specializing in Microservices API Gateways to drive integration strategies within the Integration Engineering org. You will design, evaluate, and deploy scalable API solutions across cloud platforms, with emphasis on RESTful and GraphQL interfaces and AI/GenAI integrations.

You will lead architecture governance, collaborate with PMs and technical directors, and mentor junior staff while delivering secure, scalable systems across enterprise

Qualifications

5+ years as a technical lead in middleware integration or large-scale federated systems.
4+ years in enterprise architecture methodologies and design.
2+ years with APIM (Azure or Apigee in GCP).
2+ years designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
2+ years Java microservices in cloud environments.
2+ years with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
2+ years experience with AI/GenAI platforms and LLM integrations.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and integration design for high-priority initiative.
Develop and refine enterprise-wide reference materials and architecture governance.
Collaborate with PMs and directors to scope estimates and solution plans.
