CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager of Application Development to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications, APIs, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions across cloud-native platforms and microservices architectures.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in AWS cloud technologies, API and integration delivery, microservices, AI-assisted software development, and healthcare technology platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Eng/IT or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and application development experience.
• 5+ years of technical leadership and people management experience.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Strong experience designing cloud-native apps on AWS.
• Deep experience with microservices and domain-driven design.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale API and integration programs.
• Experience with REST APIs and API lifecycle management.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams focused on application development, APIs, and cloud solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications and modernization initiatives.
• Drive cloud-native, microservices architecture and event-driven design.
• Oversee API design, governance, and integration platforms.
• Lead AI-powered development and intelligent automation initiatives.
• Oversee data architecture with SQL and NoSQL.
• Champion Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and observability practices.
