Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an Advanced Microfabrication Technology Engineer in Etters, PA. You will develop and implement micro-fabrication and micro-assembly methods for next-generation interconnect technologies, coordinating with cross-functional teams to translate design needs into manufacturable solutions.

The role requires hands-on expertise in microfabrication techniques, DOE and data analysis, and proficiency with Creo/SolidWorks/NX;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 5+ years of microfabrication/micro-scale manufacturing/assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and optimize micro-fabrication processes to produce high-precision interconnect components.
• Lead lab and pilot-scale experiments to prototype and validate microfabrication technologies.
• Develop and qualify micro-assembly processes for very small parts and alignment strategies; support automation concepts.
