Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its Microelectronics Factory team. You will focus on making production processes smarter and faster, driving quality improvements, and shortening cycle times by streamlining workflows and eliminating bottlenecks.

You will translate design to manufacturing docs, program for automation, and lead corrective actions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality microelectronics production for mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years experience implementing and managing SPC tools (Minitab, JPM).
• 3+ years CAD experience for tooling/fixtures/3D fixturing.
• 5+ years hands-on factory/shop experience with microelectronics, CCAs, or aerospace hardware.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation.
• Programming for manufacturing automation.
• Dispositioning of discrepant hardware.
• Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Manufacturing process development and maintenance.
• Conduct safety/ergonomic assessments.
