Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its Microelectronics Factory team in the United States. You will focus on making production processes smarter and faster, driving quality improvements and reducing cycle times by streamlining workflows and removing bottlenecks.

You will use data-driven tools like SPC and lead process improvement projects to ensure efficient, reliable microelectronics production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years implementing SPC tools to drive yield improvements.
• 3+ years CAD experience for tooling, fixtures and 3D fixturing.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation.
• Program for manufacturing automation.
• Disposition discrepant hardware.
• Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Manufacturing process development and maintenance.
• Conduct safety/ergonomic assessments.
