Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced electrical engineer to develop electrical testing for high-reliability, radiation-hardened microelectronic components used in DoD systems. The role covers test interface design, PCB layout, and automated test programs, with contribution to test procedures and environmental/test support.

The candidate should have a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years’ microelectronics experience, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 7+ years of microelectronics experience.
• Experience with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, analyzers) and strong problem-solving.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Interim clearance to start).

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and simulation of test circuits for characterization and evaluation of microelectronic components.
• Design and development of printed circuit boards.
• Design and development of automated test programs.
• Data collection on test components and reviews conducted by others.
• Prepare reports and correspondence and track project status.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
• Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings.
