Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced engineer to develop electrical testing for high-reliability, radiation-hardened microelectronic components used in DoD systems. You will design test interfaces, develop PCBs, and write software to control automated test equipment (ATE).

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, create technical documentation, and support environmental and mechanical testing as needed. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 7+ years of relevant microelectronics experience.
• Experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and analyzers.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and simulation of test circuits for microelectronic components.
• Design and development of printed circuit boards.
• Develop automated test programs and control software for ATE.
• Collect and review data from tests, supporting fellow engineers.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical documentation.
• Interface with customers during design reviews and working groups.
• Maintain project status and ensure compliance with standards.
