Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Laboratory Technician III to perform microbiology testing in a fast-paced GMP environment, supporting environmental monitoring, raw materials, in-process, and final product analysis. You will analyze data, write procedures with guidance, and manage time efficiently under supervision.

The role requires an associate degree (bachelor's preferred) and ongoing certifications. A2 Shift: 5:45 PM-6:00 AM Sunday-Tuesday and every other Saturday, with comprehensive benefits and career

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required, preferably in a Scientific field (Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology).
• Maintains their certifications as needed for assigned job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs test methods as written to support product/material release.
• Understands and maintains a safe work environment for themselves and others in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Understands, implements and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures and systems in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Will perform environmental monitoring with required equipment and within required frequency.
• Accepts responsibility to complete assigned tasks as committed.
• Works with others to maintain a positive atmosphere to accomplish business objectives.
• Revises procedures as necessary and provides support for department.
• Support investigations
• Will effectively perform a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained on with minimal error.
