Job summary

AbbVie in Texas is seeking a Laboratory Technician III to perform microbiology testing in a fast-paced GMP environment, supporting environmental monitoring, raw materials, in-process and final product testing. You will analyze data, write procedures with guidance, and manage time to complete tasks efficiently.

The role requires an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in a science field. The position follows a B shift: 5:45pm–6:00am, Wednesday-Friday and every other Saturday, with

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree is required; science field preferred (Chemistry, Microbiology or Biology).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs test methods as written to support product/material release.
• Maintains a safe work environment and follows GMP documentation requirements.
• Maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures and systems.
• Performs environmental monitoring with required equipment and frequency.
• Completes assigned tasks and collaborates with team to meet objectives.
• Revises procedures as necessary and provides department support.
• Supports investigations and performs various trained laboratory techniques with minimal error.
