Baxter International in Marion, NC, seeks an experienced microbiology professional to provide advanced testing, data review, and mentoring across microbiology laboratories. You will serve as the SME and data reviewer, own microbial investigations or EMPQ activities, and lead validations and method qualifications while embedding contamination-control principles into systems and processes.

The role requires a BS in Microbiology or related science with 5+ years of microbiology laboratory

Formación

• BS in Microbiology or related science.
• 5+ years microbiology laboratory experience with demonstrated technical mastery appropriate to level.
• High school diploma and 7+ years microbiology laboratory experience with completion of approved training curriculum.
• Demonstrated regulatory knowledge including GMP, data integrity, and inspection readiness.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced microbiological testing and support cross‑lab workflows.
• Primary technical SME and data reviewer.
• Own microbial investigations or EMPQ activities as assigned.
• Lead validations and method qualifications.
• Mentor laboratory staff and support supervisor and manager.
• Represent laboratory during audits and regulatory inspections.
• Embed contamination‑control principles into system design and process changes.
• Influence site‑wide contamination prevention behaviors.
