Job summary

Baxter is seeking a laboratory leader to advance microbiology testing, data review, and contamination control across its U.S. labs. You will mentor staff, drive investigations, and lead validations to ensure quality and inspection readiness.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, capability to influence cross-functional teams, and a track record of delivering precise data and improvements in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Microbiology or related science with 5+ years microbiology laboratory experience or
• High school diploma with 7+ years microbiology laboratory experience and demonstrated mastery

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced microbiological testing and support cross-lab workflows
• Serve as primary technical SME and data reviewer
• Lead microbial investigations and EMPQ activities
• Perform advanced data trending, statistical analysis, and KPI reporting
• Consult on CAPAs and effectiveness checks
• Lead validations and method qualifications
• Mentor laboratory staff and support supervisor and manager
• Represent laboratory during audits and regulatory inspections
• Act as delegate for supervisor as assigned
• Embed contamination-control principles into system design and processes
