Job summary

Family Dollar in Rome, NY is hiring a 4th shift Maintenance Technician for our warehouse team. The role maintains and troubleshoots material handling equipment including conveyors, robotics, and AS/RS to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

You will use preventive maintenance, perform root cause analyses with the team, and collaborate with supervisors to meet aggressive timelines. Shift is Saturday through Monday, 5am-5:30pm, with $29.80/hr plus a $0.75 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Requires PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on site.
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators.
• Reset, repair or replace belts, chains, cables and wearing components.
• Calibrate equipment, follow job plans, use manuals.
• Maintain motors, sensors, relays, encoders and other control devices.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting and robot maintenance.
• Create and close Work Orders with accurate data.
