Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician II to perform maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors at client sites. You will schedule PMs, diagnose issues, and coordinate parts while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of mechanic experience, relevant ASE and electrical certifications, and the ability to read schematics. The role requires tool ownership and safe operation of lift equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience; preferably with repair and maintenance of material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Silver and/or Gold Certification preferred.
• Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
• Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple types of equipment.
• Proficiency using email, work order management software, and mobile applications for daily job functions.
• Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, highly responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Supply own mechanic technician hand tools.
• Must be able to safely operate lift trucks.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Planned Maintenance (PM) of all Fleet Services Equipment, automated systems, and conveyors.
• Perform corrective repairs and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, automated systems and conveyors.
• Maintain communication with site managers and operations leaders regarding status, timelines, and parts.
• Achieve 80% technician efficiency or 100% PM completion monthly.
• Maintain accurate service and inventory records; coordinate required parts.
• Access OEM software to diagnose, troubleshoot, and program equipment.
• Ensure workplace safety and OSHA compliance.
