Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. is seeking a System Engineer - Managed File Transfer (MFT) to own and enhance the secure file transfer environment.

You will administer Axway SecureTransport, IBM Connect:Direct, and related protocols while maintaining Windows and Linux hosts, keys, and encryption. You will collaborate with security, application owners, and vendors to design robust data exchange workflows, onboard partners, and drive automation for monitoring, reporting, and efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3+ years supporting enterprise MFT platforms or secure data solutions.
• Experience with Axway SecureTransport or IBM Connect:Direct preferred.
• Experience in PCI-regulated or similar environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize MFT environments (Axway, SFTP, SSH).
• Manage keys, encryption, certificates, and secure authentication.
• Onboard internal and external MFT partners and design secure workflows.
• Develop automation for monitoring, onboarding, reporting, and ops.
• Migrate legacy MFT platforms to modern enterprise solutions.
• Monitor performance, availability, security events, and capacity trends.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end MFT issues involving customers and apps.
• Assist with backups, DR testing, and incident response.
• Maintain documentation and participate in on-call support as needed.
