Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient is seeking a System Engineer – Managed File Transfer to own secure data exchange across customers and internal systems. You’ll administer Axway SecureTransport, IBM Connect:Direct, SFTP/SSH, and PGP-based workflows on Windows and Linux environments.

You will collaborate with security, application owners, and vendors to modernize MFT platforms, ensure compliance with PCI DSS and SOC II, and drive automation for on-boarding and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS or related field.
• 5+ years of systems administration or enterprise infra experience.
• 3+ years supporting enterprise MFT platforms or secure data solutions.
• Experience with Axway SecureTransport or IBM Connect:Direct preferred.
• Experience in PCI-regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Axway SecureTransport and related MFT platforms.
• Support IBM Connect:Direct and file transfer services.
• Configure SFTP/SSH/FTPS and manage encryption keys and certificates.
• Onboard partners, design secure transfer workflows, and automate processes.
• Monitor performance, security events, and perform incident response.
• Collaborate with Security, Applications, and Infrastructure teams.
