Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a seasoned MFM Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive MFM ultrasound procedures in a high-volume setting. You will follow radiological standards and AIUM guidelines to support perinatology diagnoses while interacting with patients and staff to coordinate care.

The role emphasizes independent operation, ongoing education, and leadership of daily ultrasound activities, with a strong focus on quality and patient safety in a Magnet-recognized health

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
• ARDMS registration required (RDMS).
• OB/GYN specialization ARDMS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an MFM Ultrasound Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform MFM ultrasound procedures as assigned.
• Verify patient and procedure and provide clear instructions.
• Ensure proper imaging protocol and scanner settings for each patient.
• Maintain patient and staff safety for equipment used.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.
