Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Per-Diem Ultrasound Technologist to perform MFM ultrasound procedures in a hospital setting in Massachusetts. The role requires ARDMS certification, OB/GYN specialization, and at least two years of MFM experience.

You will work under supervision and support clinical care while covering vacations and sick days. The position emphasizes patient safety, accurate imaging, and collaboration with the radiology team to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program.
• ARDMS-registered Sonographer with OB/GYN specialization.
• Minimum of two years of experience performing MFM ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform MFM ultrasound procedures on assigned patients.
• Verify patient and procedure to be performed and provide clear instructions.
• Apply correct imaging protocols and scanner parameters for each patient.
• Ensure patient and staff safety; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing education and training and quality control.
