Job summary

Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA is seeking an experienced MFM Ultrasound Technologist to perform specialized ultrasound procedures and support perinatology. You will work under supervision as a clinical/technical resource, guiding students and advancing diagnostic quality.

Responsibilities include safe, accurate imaging, adherence to AIUM standards, and ongoing education, with a focus on patient care and interdepartmental collaboration in a Magnet-recognized hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
• ARDMS registration and OB/GYN certification are required.
• Minimum four years of experience as an MFM Ultrasound Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform MFM ultrasound procedures on assigned patients.
• Verify patient and procedure; provide clear instructions.
• Ensure proper imaging protocol, scanner parameters, and patient safety.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality control on equipment.
• Coordinate care with other staff and departments; train students.
