Job summary

Anduril Industries in Waltham, MA is seeking a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing quality team. The role focuses on ensuring products and processes meet stringent quality standards through inspections, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will perform incoming, in-process, and end-of-line inspections, contribute to inspection plans, calibration programs, and audits, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate degree in related quality/mechanical/aerospace engineering field.
• 3+ years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience within the Aerospace industry.
• Experience with calibrated equipment and reading engineering drawings.
• GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience with inspection of machined parts and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with inspection of Electrical and Electronic Components (Power Supplies, PCBs, wire-harnesses).
• Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949 or similar QMS standard.
• Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection and end of line inspection. Ensure Inspection areas follow processes and best practices associated with inspection work instructions, procedures, and tools.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering in the creation of inspection plans for incoming materials, parts, and assemblies from suppliers and monitor their compliance
• Execute on the equipment calibration and material shelf-life verification programs
• Support Material review board processes
• Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
• Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy.
