Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering or materials science with 7+ years R&D or applications.
• Doctoral degree with 5+ years R&D or applications.
• Direct customer support experience required.
• Experience in circuit board encapsulants and surface mount technology preferred.
• Knowledge of liquid application equipment and processes valued.
• Statistical analysis with Minitab and/or JMP desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% globally.

Responsibilities

• Interface between field and lab to translate customer needs for new applications and products.
• Design and administer internal screening evaluations of developmental and commercialized products.
• Troubleshoot product and process problems in collaboration with customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Sales/Product Development/Marketing teams.
• Provide global on-site support for customers as needed.
