Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in R&D or Application Engineering.
• Knowledge of circuit board encapsulant products and SMT.
• Direct customer support experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Support development of board-level encapsulant applications.
• Interface between customers, field teams, and lab/engineering groups.
• Translate customer requirements into new applications and product development.
• Design and run internal screening evaluations for products.
• Optimize material assembly and application processes.
• Troubleshoot product/process issues with customers.
• Provide technical support on-site to customers globally.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, Marketing and R&D.
• Support global electronics customers.
• Travel internationally as needed up to 25%.
• Identify opportunities to improve application processes and customer solutions.
