Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Lead Engineering Metrology Technician to lead metrology activities, oversee calibration and operation of metrology equipment, and provide technical leadership to engineering and manufacturing teams. You will report to Sr.

Technical Manager; this on-site role emphasizes measurement accuracy, uncertainty analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have extensive metrology experience and a strong background in electronics

Qualifications

8 years of work experience as a metrology technician in a lab, field support, test or production environment OR prior experience in a Metrology Lab.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform calibrations and measurements on SI-traceable instruments and equipment.
Calibrate multifunction calibrators, reference resistors, capacitors and inductors, reference inductance.
Support ranges from general-purpose benchtop test equipment to custom built test consoles.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair test instruments and equipment.
Devise new testing methods and calibration procedures; perform measurement uncertainty analysis; draft calibrations and calibration reports.
