Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Experience with calibration in a metrology/quality management environment.
• Master’s degree in physics or mechanical engineering with metrology emphasis is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with advanced electro-optical and dimensional-optical measurement equipment in a primary standards lab.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Raytheon personnel across the Surveillance organization to execute equipment calibrations and deliver metrology support.
• Collect and analyze measurement data to confirm adherence to technical specifications and quality criteria.
• Prepare detailed calibration reports and present results in a clear, customer-oriented format.
• Develop, evaluate, and authorize calibration procedures to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct uncertainty analysis to assess and validate calibration processes.
• Evaluate and fulfill Raytheon’s calibration requirements to maintain production support and regulatory compliance.
• Occasional travel to other facilities or conferences may be required.
