Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a metrology/calibration professional to manage all internal and external calibration programs for electrical, mechanical, optical, and RF equipment. You will lead cross‑functional teams, define long‑term calibration strategies, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in metrology/calibration with 1–2+ years in program/project management
• Deep knowledge of calibration methods for electrical, mechanical, optical, and RF/microwave equipment
• Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, AS9100, and NIST traceability

Responsibilities

• Manage all internal and external calibrations of electrical, mechanical, optical, and RF measurement equipment
• Lead metrology/ calibration teams across disciplines
• Define long-term calibration strategy and in-house capabilities
• Ensure ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, AS9100, NASA requirements compliance
• Provide expert guidance on metrology data integrity for decision-making
• Review certificates and maintain calibration databases (e.g., Indysoft)
