Job summary
Insight Global is hiring a Metrology Equipment Technician for a leading Semiconductor company in Austin, TX. This technician will be specialized in Semiconductor Metrology Equipment Maintenance and will work in their 24/7 main FAB and interact with multiple disciplines.
Technicians will perform daily tool checks, respond to breakdowns, conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex problems, calibrate equipment, and monitor processes to minimize downtime across high-precision lithography
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in engineering or science required or 8+ years semiconductor experience in lieu.
- Minimum 3+ years of metrology semiconductor experience with maintenance and repair exposure.
- Experience reading schematics and complex diagrams; able to troubleshoot hardware and process failures.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete daily tool checks and respond quickly to breakdown maintenance.
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize stop loss in a 24/7 FAB.
- Troubleshoot complex problems, calibrate equipment, and ensure process compliance.
- Document maintenance activities and coordinate downtime with manufacturing leads.
- Coordinate with Equipment Engineers on upgrades and long down troubleshooting.
