Job summary
JST CORPORATION in Guntersville, AL is seeking a Measurement Systems Engineer to serve as the SME for measurement systems, calibration, and dimensional validation. You will sign off on dimensional layouts for launches and ECOs, and lead metrology for stamping dies, molds, and fixtures.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in engineering, 5–7+ years in quality/metrology in automotive manufacturing, and strong GD&T and CMM skills with AIAG tool knowledge. On-site role with competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5–7+ years in quality engineering or metrology in automotive electronics, connectors, or wire harness manufacturing.
- Expert GD&T, CMM and vision system programming; strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools.
Responsibilities
- Sign off on FAIs and PPAP dimensional layouts for new product launches and ECOs.
- Lead qualification for duplicate stamping dies, multi-cavity molds, and automated fixtures.
- Perform 8D root-cause investigations for dimensional escapes and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5M.
