Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a skilled Metrology Specialist to program and optimize inspections across CMMs and other high-precision systems. You will troubleshoot measurement issues, design fixtures, and support root cause analyses within a fast-paced defense technology lab.

The role requires 5+ years in metrology, proficiency with Calypso/PolyWorks/PC-DMIS, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Collaboration across teams will shape inspection standards and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of metrology experience with CMM programming.
• Experience with multiple metrology systems (CMMs, laser trackers, CT scanners, optical systems).
• Strong GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5).
• Design and build holding fixtures for CMMs.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex measurement issues and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate metrology equipment to validate parts meet requirements.
• Write, debug, and optimize inspection programs to improve accuracy and cycle time.
• Troubleshoot complex measurement issues and resolve process-level problems.
• Design, build, and validate holding fixtures for CMMs.
• Work with Quality Engineering on problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Define best-practice inspection and reporting strategies with cross-functional teams.
