Qualifikationen

• BSEE or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• MS EE with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Equivalency: education and experience accepted.
• Expertise in board-level circuit design, PCB bring-up, lab testing, and hardware debugging.

Aufgaben

• Design low-noise analog, mixed-signal, and digital control electronics to standards.
• Develop PCBs from concept to release with BOMs and documentation.
• Integrate power, motion and thermal controls, sensors, and optical metrology instruments.
• Define electrical architecture and produce schematics, wiring, and panel drawings.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes and production-intent systems.
• Troubleshoot across hardware, firmware, software, optics, motion, and interfaces.
• Develop firmware/HDL/scripts/drivers/APIs for device control and testing.
• Select components considering performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Own assigned systems from prototype through manufacturing and failure analysis.
• Communicate risks, tradeoffs and progress in design reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, service, and suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
