Job summary

TOKYO ELECTRON AMERICA, INC. in Fremont, CA is seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to develop metrology systems for semiconductor processing equipment, spanning low-noise analog, mixed-signal electronics, and sensor interfaces.

You will design PCBs, define electrical architecture, integrate power, motion and optical metrology tools, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing and service teams. Onsite with flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• BSEE or related field with 7+ years experience; MSEE with 5+ years (or equivalent).
• Experience bringing electrical hardware from prototype to release.
• Expertise in low-noise analog or mixed-signal electronics.
• Board-level circuit design, bring-up, lab testing, and debugging.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design low-noise analog, mixed-signal, and digital control electronics.
• Develop PCBs from concept to release, including testing.
• Integrate power, motion, temperature controls, and optical metrology instruments.
• Produce schematics, wiring/cable drawings, panel drawings, BOMs, and tests.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes and production-intent systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and manufacturing personnel.
