Qualifications

• BSEE or related field with 7+ years (or MSEE with 5+ years) required.
• Experience developing electrical hardware from prototype through integration, validation, and release.
• Expertise in at least one area: low-noise analog, mixed-signal, embedded controls, precision instrumentation, industrial controls, motion, thermal control, or power systems.
• Experience with board-level circuit design, PCB bring-up, testing, and debugging.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to produce electrical drawings, design documentation, and test reports.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Strong written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design low-noise analog, mixed-signal, and digital control electronics.
• Develop custom PCBs from concept through schematic design, component selection, bring-up, validation, and release.
• Integrate power supplies, motion and temperature controls, optical metrology instruments, safety circuits, and industrial sensors.
• Define electrical architecture and produce schematics, wiring and cable drawings, panel drawings, bills of materials, and test documentation.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes, fixtures, and production-intent systems.
• Diagnose issues across electrical hardware, firmware, software, optics, motion, thermal control, and system interfaces.
• Develop or modify firmware, HDL, scripts, drivers, and APIs for device control and testing.
• Select components and suppliers based on performance, reliability, availability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Own assigned systems from prototype through release, manufacturing support, and failure analysis.
• Communicate technical risks, tradeoffs, and progress through design reviews and project execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, applications, service, and supplier teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel.
