Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Permanent Metallurgist for our west coast manufacturing team. The role focuses on metallurgical analysis, testing, and process improvement to ensure high-quality products.

The candidate will partner with production to troubleshoot and optimize workflows, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Metallurgy or Materials Science with 5+ years in a relevant setting; a Master's/PhD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years in metallurgical manufacturing.
• Experience with metallurgical testing methods and procedures.
• Experience with failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with metallurgy/manufacturing software.

Responsibilities
