Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta campaigns, messaging, and funnel optimization.

You will lead strategy, writing, testing, and client communications, driving bookings and qualified appointments while maintaining strong relationships. The role requires hands-on management of multiple accounts, strong direct-response copy skills, and the ability to collaborate with video editors and automation tools to accelerate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to manage campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts end to end including client conversations, Meta performance, copywriting, and testing strategies.
• Report to the Associate Director of Operations and be accountable for client performance and retention.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build client relationships that support retention and referrals.
• Identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine where changes will improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variants for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality and judgment.
• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, pixels, and conversion events.
• Configure Calendly, Zapier, and lead-routing workflows to streamline lead flow.
