Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across media buying, strategy, copy, testing, and communication. You will manage a portfolio of accounts end-to-end, lead client conversations, and drive results beyond Ads Manager.

You will report to the Associate Director of Operations and be directly accountable for client performance, relationships, and retention, while coordinating across creative, tracking, and funnel optimization efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with Meta as a core responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to hit performance targets while supporting retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting for ads and scripts.
• Experience creating and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls on performance, strategy, testing priorities and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine changes to improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality.
• Set up tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events; configure Calendly/Zapier automations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems.
