Job summary

Qcells North America is seeking a Sr. MES Engineer to join the IT team in optimizing manufacturing operations. You will design and operate Smart Factory solutions, implement MES software, and drive continuous process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity on the shop floor.

The role requires at least 5 years of MES development and strong data analysis, with experience in solar/semiconductor automation and cross-functional collaboration with production, engineering, quality, and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years developing and operating MES solutions.
• Experience in automation in solar/semiconductor industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement MES functions to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive productivity and cost reductions.
• Integrate MES with ERP, PLCs, AMR, and other systems for seamless data flow.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MES applications.
