Job summary

PingPong Payments in New York City seeks an experienced Senior Acquiring Risk Specialist to support our merchant acquiring business in the United States. You will manage end-to-end onboarding operations, KYC/KYB review, and risk assessment for merchants, coordinating with banks, processors, and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in merchant acquiring, payment operations, or related field.
• Hands-on onboarding experience and risk review.
• Knowledge of KYC/KYB requirements.
• Experience submitting merchants to acquiring banks or processors.
• Experience managing chargebacks or disputes.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end onboarding reviews for merchants applying for acquiring and payment processing services.
• Perform merchant risk assessments reviewing business models, websites, transactions, and risk factors.
• Review KYC/KYB documentation and identify compliance and fraud risks.
• Prepare and submit merchant applications to banks and channel partners.
• Track applications through activation and monitor chargebacks and disputes.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Sales, Product, and Operations.
