Job summary

ShipBob seeks a Senior Merchant Implementation Manager to lead onboarding for new merchants, guiding configuration, optimization, and successful rollout of ShipBob software and fulfillment services. You will manage timelines, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and coach merchants to use ShipBob features effectively.

The role requires travel up to 20% within the United States and deep experience in merchant success and implementation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Merchant Implementation or a related role.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the United States.
• Excellent Project Management skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience.
• Experience collaborating cross-departmentally to deliver merchant solutions.
• Experience with APIs, ERP and OMS systems.
• Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento or WooCommerce is highly preferred.
• Bonus: Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, Monday, Salesforce, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain communication with key stakeholders to set expectations for deliverables, timelines and milestones.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep objectives on track.
• Monitor task completion to ensure alignment with deadlines.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (notes, timelines, progress reports, deliverables).
• Guide merchants through onboarding and review success criteria with stakeholders.
• Configure ShipBob solutions to meet merchant goals and integrate standard systems.
• Troubleshoot merchant challenges and coordinate with Operations for seamless rollout.
• Provide tailored training sessions and create reference materials for self-service.
