Job Description

Our client, a wholesale apparel brand, is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to join their team in NYC! This role will lead and help build out their new denim category.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with and lead the merchandising team to create the seasonal assortment plan.
2. Enter purchase orders according to order size.
3. Create and maintain line sheets each season.
4. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and pricing strategies.
5. Run weekly selling reports.
6. Coordinate and support stores on product needs, reserves, special requests, and delivery.
7. Manage the retail sample closet.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Excel & Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or related field.
• Deep knowledge of washes and fabrics.
• Existing relationships with retailers in the denim space.
• Ability to manage and lead a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Salary: $120k-150k depending on experience.

Full-time, in-office position.
