Deckers Brands in Goleta, California, is seeking a Sr. Merchandise Planner for Teva DTC. You will lead financial planning, drive inventory strategies, and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize sales and profitability while maintaining optimal stock levels.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in merchandise planning or related finance, and strong Excel, Oracle and Tableau skills. You will forecast, review Open-to-Buy, and translate data into actionable plans across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience.
• 4+ years of merchandise planning, inventory management, buying, or finance in a retail environment.
• Forecasting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial plans at channel, class, and style level to maximize sales and profitability.
• Build weekly category sales and inventory plans that align with brand and channel goals.
• Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Create and oversee bottom-up style-color level sales and buy plans, ensuring alignment with top-down guidance.
• Partner with Merchants and Planning Operations to secure product by market and influence sizing.
• Present class and style level plans in DTC Investment Review for Teva.
• Build regular price and markdown plans based on flow calendar and product strategies.
• Collaborate with Wholesale and Supply Planning through buy review conversations.
• Lead in-season Open-to-Buy reforecasting, ensuring optimal inventory position and responding to trends.
• Quantify and communicate supply disruptions, pivoting strategies to achieve goals.
• Share inventory positions and recommendations with e-commerce, marketing, and allocation teams.
• Create and share financial results and reporting, presenting findings and action points in meetings.
• Embrace continuous improvement and develop strategies to optimize business goals.
