Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Systems/MEP Manager in Los Angeles to drive complete MEP trades delivery from design through commissioning. You will oversee design review, 3D coordination, submittal approvals, field inspections, testing and commissioning of low voltage, fire protection, controls and all critical MEP systems.

You will lead teams to review contracts, coordinate schedules, manage procurement, and mentor staff in a high-performance, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical or fire protection/life safety engineering, construction management or related discipline OR 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• 5+ years experience in construction and managing MEP trades, experience with a general contractor preferred.
• Experience leading teams in MEP design review, drawing supervision, submittal review, field inspections, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract documents for constructability, code compliance and functionality.
• Lead MEP trade 3D coordination meetings and approve drawings submittals.
• Guide and monitor MEP trade coordination and on-site installation.
• Manage MEP material submittals and procurement documentation.
• Develop and monitor MEP schedule with project team.
• Oversee testing and commissioning activities and close-out documentation.
