Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Senior MEP Superintendent I to lead and direct MEP-focused construction on large projects. You will coordinate across departments, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor site teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety compliance, and effective communication with engineers, clients, and trades. Travel may be extensive, and the position offers competitive compensation within Mortenson's project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of trade experience.
• Minimum 15 years construction experience.
• Minimum 10 years supervisory experience.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities and task assignments.
• Coordinate with engineers and other departments to support project schedule.
• Budget, forecast, and manage labor, equipment, materials, and tools.
• Review documents for completeness and constructability.
• Develop and update project schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Lead pre-construction planning sessions and site meetings.
• Coach and develop field personnel and supervisors.
• Ensure safety and zero-injury program adherence.
